I recently stayed at a lovely B&B and had a fantastic experience! The location is perfect for exploring, just a short walk from both Bowness and Windermere. The breakfast selection was amazing, with everything cooked to perfection. Plus, the room was super cozy and beautifully decorated, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The friendly owners really added a nice touch to our stay!
On the downside, the bedroom felt a bit dark for my taste, even with the lights on. the bathroom door could be a bit tricky as it often slammed shut. A small mirror would be a nice addition too! though, those were just minor issues in an otherwise great stay.

Absolutely charming stay with excellent service
Our room was cozy and well-appointed, and breakfast was a highlight, with fresh local ingredients and a variety of options, including scrumptious blueberry pancakes. The location is perfect, just a short walk between Windermere and Bowness. My only suggestion for improvement would be to consider better soundproofing in the rooms for a more peaceful experience.

Just spent 2 nights here and we loved it! The warm welcome with coffee and carrot cake was such a nice touch. Room was comfy and warm, with a newly redone shower that was ace. Breakfast was a feast, especially those blueberry and banana pancakes! Only a bit noisy from the street at times, but overall, fantastic vibes.
